CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS
Last updated: 17 September 2026
1. Our position
Partibo has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, linking to or promoting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) through Partibo is strictly prohibited. So is any conduct that grooms, solicits or seeks to meet a child for sexual purposes.
These rules form an integral part of Partibo's Terms of Use and admit no exception.
2. Partibo is for adults only
Partibo is for people aged 18 and over. Anyone under 18 cannot create an account.
A date of birth is required at registration, and a date of birth indicating an age under 18 is rejected on the server. This rule is enforced in the software itself; it is not merely a notice on screen.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close the account and delete its data. If you become aware of such an account, report it to us.
⚠️ Age is based on the date of birth the user declares. Where we see an indication that the declaration is false, we place the account under review.
3. How to report from inside the app
Any child safety concern can be reported from inside the app.
- Report content — use the three-dot menu next to a message, memory, event, story or review and choose "Report".
- Report a person — use "Report" on that person's profile.
- Write to us directly — open a request under Profile › Support. You can follow its status on the same screen.
- Block — you can block anyone; a blocked person cannot interact with you.
When a report is opened, a snapshot of the reported content is stored. This means the report can still be reviewed even if the content is later deleted or the event chat is automatically cleared.
4. What happens when we receive a report
Child safety reports are prioritised and do not wait in the queue.
- The report is reviewed in our administration panel.
- If the rules are broken, the content is removed.
- The account is suspended or permanently closed.
- Records and snapshots are retained for review and for any legal process.
- Where a criminal offence is suspected, the competent authorities are notified (see §5).
You receive a response inside the app when you open a report.
5. Reporting to authorities
Partibo complies with applicable law on child sexual abuse.
When we identify, or are notified of, child sexual abuse material or a sexual approach towards a child:
- We preserve the records as evidence.
- In Türkiye we notify the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Cybercrime units of the Directorate General of Security.
- Where the matter involves another country, we refer it to that country's competent authorities and to the relevant international reporting hotlines.
- We share with the competent authorities any information we are legally required to share.
Anyone may also report directly through İhbar Web (ihbarweb.org.tr) or by calling
the police on 155. In an emergency involving danger to life, call 112.
6. Your responsibility as a user
Partibo brings strangers together in real life. For that reason:
- If you encounter someone under 18 at an event, report it.
- If you believe someone is behaving inappropriately towards children, report it.
- Do not keep or forward content you find suspicious — report it.
The identity of a person who makes a report is not shared with the person reported.
