DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

You can delete your account whenever you like. Below are two ways to do it, and exactly what happens when you do.

Option 1 — From the app (fastest)

  1. Open the Partibo app and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to Settings › Delete my account.
  3. Confirm. Deletion starts immediately.

Option 2 — If you can't get into the app

Send an email to destek@partibo.app with the subject "Account deletion request" and state the phone number registered to your account.

⚠️ Before acting on the request we verify that the number really belongs to you — we do this to prevent someone else's account being deleted. Once verified, we complete the deletion within 30 days at the latest.

What happens when you delete

Deleted

  • Every file you uploaded: your profile photo, stories, event memory photos, voice messages.
  • Your messages and support correspondence.
  • Future events you created, your tickets, favourites and follows.
  • Your ratings, task and point records, and your notification token.
  • The link to your phone number — your number is released, and you can open a brand new account with the same number if you want.

Anonymised

Your name, bio, gender, date of birth, profile photo, compatibility answers and city are removed. In past events you appear as "Deleted user".

What remains

Records in past events you joined or hosted remain; they contain no personal data of yours.

⚠️ We leave this on purpose. Deleting past events too would delete other people's memories and stories along with them.

We also keep a record that "the right to erasure was used on this date"; that record contains no personal data. Commercial records that legislation requires us to keep (ticket and payment records) are retained for the periods stated in the Privacy Policy.

⚠️ Deletion cannot be undone. If you sign up again with the same number your previous content does not return; a new account is created from scratch.
